as the girls passed through the gardens on their way to the ceremony site - they got a sneak peak at the reception all set up. laura gasp and then praised the caterers for all their hard work - then turning to becca to once again tell her how perfect this experience was. miss laura thompson is one of the most genuine and encouraging people you'll ever encounter. every word from her mouth was uplifting and utterly hilarious - she kept us all in stitches the whole day!

knowing the Stewart family on an intimate level brought an entirely new dimension to experiencing this wedding day. when you have such a strong emotional connection with your subjects the best is truly captured because you know, love and understand them and can more accurately decipher what's going through their head at that moment. i love these folks so very much and could not have felt a deeper sense of honor that they chose me to tell this story for them.

choosing selections of poetry or other written materials to be read at your wedding is a tremendous way to share who you are and what you find most important in this life. becca and chris had two passages read by two very important people in their lives, Katie - a close friend from college and jesse, becca's big brother. as each was read you could see the connection the couple had to each - as her brother read the words, tears welled up in becca's blue eyes that brought most of the audience with her - including me.

as a nod to tradition and symbolism, becca and chris chose to represent their union with the drinking of wine from the Native American wedding vase. it was a unique way to signify their love and brought on quite a few laughs - you see, when chris went to take his sip he quickly found that in order to get a lil' bit from this vase you must tip it back WAY far. it took him longer than expected to accomplish this task which pretty much just looked like he was chugging all the wine! hahaa - it was awesome and got everyone rolling!

that moment when you look at each other - after your first kiss, is absolutely priceless. it's that laugh that you can't live without and that sparkle in the eye of the one you love that says, 'we did it!' these moments are always some of my favorites from the day because the emotion is so pure.

as becca stepped down and proceeded down the aisle - she quickly glanced at her parents and shot them that signature wink of hers that just makes you smile. it's one of my favorite things becca does that says it all from 'it's going to be okay' to 'i love you more than you'll ever know.'

i kinda felt like a creeping paparazzi during these last few shots but the moment just couldn't be missed - becca and chris walked down the lawn, around the farm house and were completely out of site when she pulled him in for a big kiss. moments afterwards they noticed they weren't alone and spotted me on the porch and burst into laughter. sorry guys but you're just so darn cute!
tomorrow i'll lead these two out into the field behind the ceremony site where we'll do a lil' dancing, swinging and of course, laughing. stay tuned my friends!
